Artificial intelligence (AI) agents are rapidly becoming a core driver of business automation. This course is an introduction to AI agents from a strategic business perspective. It will not teach you how to build agents—instead, it will teach you how to determine whether, where, and how agents should exist in your organization.

This course is designed for business leaders, consultants, product and project managers, and other decision makers who are interested in unlocking the power of agentic AI to enhance business processes. It's also a great starting point for technical practitioners who have been tasked with implementing agentic solutions in the organization.

2) Businesses can have class delivered over one calendar day or two half days for their team. This course can be the foundation for a comprehensive AI skill-building and knowledge assessment program.

3) In this course, students get hands-on practice with the various AI tools, but also learn foundational AI concepts that are validated through an online/self-paced quiz. Those quiz results would help you as the employer validate your group has a certain level of AI knowledge/help show more ROI for your training investment.

Prerequisites:

To ensure your success in this course, you should have a foundational knowledge of business processes and general business concepts, as well as a general awareness of AI. You should also have at least a basic understanding of information technology resources and systems, including networks, computers, and other electronic devices used in the enterprise.

PLEASE NOTE – this class utilizes the “entry-level” Microsoft Copilot license that is available for free – we do not review capabilities available with organizational or business Copilot licenses that integrate with other Microsoft Office applications (we do this in other classes). Students in this class will use a personal Microsoft account or create a trial Microsoft account in class in order to access Copilot in Windows and in Microsoft Edge.

This class is a follow-up to the more basic/entry level AI classes offered at Logical Operations. Students in this class should have prior experience in an AI course offered by Logical Operations. It is recommended that students have previously taken either one of our "How to Create and Use a Prompt" classes or one of our "Getting the Most out of your Spreadsheets/Documents/Presentations with GenAI" classes.
