AI & Microsoft Copilot Implementation Workshop – “Next Steps”

Two Virtual Workshops (3 hours each)

Audience: Knowledge workers across a variety of roles who have already completed foundational AI and Copilot training.

These two sessions are designed to move the team from awareness to applied adoption. Participants will work collaboratively to identify high‑value use cases, define practical next steps, and build an actionable plan for responsible, measurable implementation of AI and Microsoft Copilot across their daily workflows.


Workshop 1 – Identifying Opportunities & Designing Practical Use Cases

Objectives

  • Align on the organization’s goals for AI adoption
  • Surface real workflows where Copilot can create measurable value
  • Evaluate opportunities based on impact, feasibility, and readiness
  • Begin drafting team‑specific use cases and success criteria

Core Topics & Activities

  • Brief recap of AI & Copilot capabilities (focused on what’s newly possible since their initial training)
  • AI Opportunity Mapping Exercise
    • Participants identify repetitive, time‑consuming, or error‑prone tasks
    • Grouping opportunities by function (e.g., operations, customer support, finance, HR, project management)
  • Use Case Prioritization Framework
    • Impact vs. effort
    • Data readiness
    • Security/governance considerations
  • Drafting Use Case Concepts
    • Each participant or team drafts 1–2 potential use cases
    • Define the “before and after” workflow
    • Identify required inputs, outputs, and success measures

Workshop 2 – Building the AI Action Plan & Implementation Roadmap

Objectives

  • Refine and validate selected use cases
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and timelines
  • Establish governance, measurement, and feedback loops
  • Produce a clear, practical action plan for the next 30–90 days

  • Review & refine use case drafts from Workshop 1
  • Implementation Planning
    • Required tools, access, and data considerations
    • Change management and communication needs
    • Risks and mitigation strategies
  • Governance & Responsible AI
    • Policies for safe and ethical use
    • Guardrails for accuracy, privacy, and transparency
    • When to escalate or validate outputs
  • Measurement & Continuous Improvement
    • Defining KPIs and success metrics
    • Setting up a feedback loop for iteration
  • Finalizing the AI Action Plan
    • Each team leaves with a documented next‑step plan
    • Commitments for follow‑up and accountability

    • Establish a review workflow to ensure accuracy and consistency
